Contour Technology Workshop

As we mentioned in the April newsletter , RMIT University’s School of Fashion and Textiles will partner with De Montfort University to present the Contour Technology Workshop series at RMIT’s Brunswick campus in September 2010.

Past FTAA Events

The Art of Measuring the Body

Facilitators: Toni Stalls & Anita Robinson

Date: Saturday 15th May 2010.

The workshop technique is based on the direct measurement theory of the Fashion Design System. We will cover the finer points of accurately capturing the measurement profiles of each person attending.

As a bonus we have arranged for Stein Vestergaard, a well known anthropometric photographer who was involved in the Rip Curl scientific sizing study, to take a front, back and side view of each participant.

So join us to learn the finer points and depart with a complete set of your measurements to use for your own purposes; workshop notes and photographs; and a FTAA measuring tape.
